The song travels with the token
Pitch writes the song into the PNG itself: the settings chosen at launch and every line of the drawing. The file lives on IPFS and can't change, so anyone who opens the token hears exactly what its creator made. Tokens without it don't play.

Questions
Is a Pitch token an NFT?
No. It's a token on pump.fun like any other: anyone can buy, sell or hold it. And anyone can hear its song, whether they hold it or not: the song is in its public token image.
Do holders own the song?
No. Anyone can listen to the song, holder or not, and holding the token gives no rights to the image, the song or anything they earn.
Does the creator earn anything?
Yes: pump.fun pays the creator a share of the trading fees on their token (its creator fees). Pitch takes nothing.
What does it cost to launch?
pump.fun charges nothing to create a token. You pay about 0.02 SOL in Solana network fees and account rent, which go to the Solana network. If you buy some of your own token at launch (a dev buy), pump.fun's 1.25% trading fee and PumpPortal's 0.5% apply to it. Pitch takes nothing.
Where is it traded?
On pump.fun, like any pump.fun token. Pitch only helps you make and launch it, and never holds your funds or keys.
Can the song change after launch?
No. It's saved inside the token image on IPFS when the token launches, so it stays the same for everyone.
